Hands first.
Code next.
I've spent the last twenty years building. If it broke, I fixed it. If it didn't exist, I figured out how to make it. The same instinct — take it apart, rebuild it better — is what I'm bringing to software.
School is AI & data; that's my foot in the door. The destination is blockchain, web3, and smart contracts.
Born in Alaska
Raised on weather, salvage, and self-reliance. The kind of place where you fix it because nobody is coming to fix it for you.
Two decades of fabrication
Roofs, cars, trucks, ATVs, a glass forge and kilns from scratch. Almost four years designing hydro-electric generators out of salvaged machinery. Understanding how things fail before they are built.
The hard reset
Major accident. Three medivacs. Third-degree burns. Pulled from the ocean by the Coast Guard. Lost the house, the savings, the family, the career — to opiates. Relearned how to walk.
38, sober, & building
Working full-time. Putting myself through school for AI, data, and blockchain. Living alone. Paying my own way. Writing code. I don't stop until the logic is flawless.
